Mike Moran:
"Great job Vision Quest!"
"I am an executive at a large
company that supplies parts to the airline industry. I oversee 450
employees and manage many large accounts. Our company's mantra is
CUSTOMER SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I joined
Vision Quest a few years ago based on a recommendation from a friend.
They had all of the equipment that I needed, the gym was clean, and the
staff was friendly. Basically the gym met my level of expectations.
Everything dramatically changed in January of 2008. Chip and Jeff
arrived and my experience at Vision Quest went from good to GREAT!
They brought with them a new personal training staff. They also brought
new standards of customer service that I rarely see in any industry let
alone inside a health club. The girls at the front desk always greet me with "Hello Mike. Have a great workout". Sometimes they even pay me a
personal compliment, which makes my day. Another example is the time I
lost my car keys somewhere in the gym. Chip and Jeff had most of the
staff turn that place upside down until they found my keys. I got
connected with one of their top trainers and he has changed my life forever. I don't think I will ever look at exercise and nutrition the
same way ever again. I got involved in their "Biggest Gainer"
competition, a muscle gain version of their Biggest Loser challenges.
In 90 days I added 11 lbs of lean muscle and dropped my body fat by 4%!
They have this business down to an exact science. I have taken some of
their customer service systems and implemented them into my own
business. Great job Vision Quest!!"

Naomi Elliott:
"Wearing jeans is fun now!"
"In August of 2007, my husband and I witnessed the death of our 21 year-old daughter in a head-on truck collision. Seven months and 35 pounds later, I took a good look at myself in the mirror. I looked terrible! I felt terrible! My body, like my spirit, sagged all around me. The passion I previously had for life, my health, and the activities I used to do joyfully had disappeared. I knew I had to turn this around for both myself and my family. I immediately resolved to commit myself to the Biggest Loser I challenge and work with the support of the professional staff at Vision Quest to do it. If my heart was going to heal, it would need the support of a strong, healthy body.
The Biggest Loser Challenge I contest was held last spring. While filling out the paper work, I was assigned to work with Luka Hocevar, who I discovered later was the most qualified trainer in the gym. For the next three grueling months, Luka worked with me one-on-one. The expertise he had gained as a professional basketball player, athletic trainer, and fitness coach was openly reflected in my results - the Biggest Mid-Point Loser and a second place finish. My body was transformed and I could smile again - even while doing my 5th set of burpees! Thanks to Luka, Vision Quest's on-site chiropractor Dr Gemmer and massage therapist Mikki, I became stronger and more energetic than ever!
After the contest, I had the confidence to join Vision Quest's Boot Camp class directed by Luka on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. At 48, I honestly felt intimidated by some of the super fit looking, "younger crowd" of people around me. Those feelings disappeared as I learned the routines for each circuit training session in the encouraging, cooperative teamwork atmosphere the group creates. I am continually amazed at what my body is really able to do. That heavy feeling around me has disappeared. Wearing jeans is fun now! Boot Camp has increased my overall strength, muscle tone, and my drive to do my best in every area of my life. I'm even looking forward to hiking and learning to kayak with my family this summer."
Robin Tosh:
"My energy is through the roof!"
"I began my twenties with my weight at 135 pounds. Thirty years, 2 children, 50-plus hour work weeks, bad food choices, and no regular exercise left me at 300 pounds.
In 2006 I joined a gym and made an effort to make some positive changes for my health. After being cast into the masses I decided to consult a nutritionist. I even resorted to trying a hypnotist. I saw limited success at best and eventually quit going.
Several months later, I joined Curves and found that I was the only one really sweating. Most of the members were there to visit and every once in a while the front desk attendant would tell me "you are doing it wrong". It was not very motivating. Once again, I quit.
My daughter and daughter-in-law convinced me to check out Vision Quest. They had recently visited the gym and seemed pretty excited to get started. All 3 of us got started with 3 different trainers. All of us started seeing fantastic results. We got involved in the Biggest Loser contest that kept our motivation and accountability at a high level. I realized that there is no mercy for over-weight and over-fifty. It was PUSH PUSH PUSH! It is great. Balanced meal plans and ever changing workouts made all the difference for me. My personal trainer Jeff mapped out a perfect plan and all I had to do was follow it.
So far the result is I have last over 125 lbs. My energy is through the roof. I am sleeping better. I have not yet reached my goal, but there is no doubt that with the help of my trainer and the supportive staff at Vision Quest that I will get there and stay there!"
